As I posted yesterday, I have a playdate this weekend and my generous neighbour Mr T gave me 6 implements to play with. Abel suggested that I have to try each implement in turn and that you lovely readers should vote on how many strokes of each I should get.
Of course Eliane, ever helpful as usual, jumped in with 12 of each and then some. But people calling out random figures isn't going to be that useful.
So here's what we do. For every comment I get on this post I'll get one stroke of each implement. That works out at 2 cane strokes, 2 straps, a leather paddle and a leather martinet for each one.
I put this out there with the comfort of knowing that the most comments I've ever got on one post was 17 (and 3 of them were mine). So lurkers, please pick another day to de-lurk!

Count me in for one stroke of each! And my Master is sitting beside me, and says he should get counted for a comment as well, by reason of proximity!

And you don't expect me just to spend my entire day commenting on your post to up the total?! Really, you need to put disclaimers in to prevent people like me abusing the system.
Well, two strokes of each implement is hardly enough to decide how effective they are - so maybe I should 'help' and increase the total.

I think that you will be able to cope with everything, only I'm not sure about the dragon cane, never used one.

Yesterday I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the number of comments. You crazy feckers!!!
But I did keep to my word. Taking out my own comments left 49 and then adding in one for Zille's master made it the round 50.
So I duly got 50 of each of the 6 aforementioned implments. And it bloody hurt! More to follow on that.
But can I just point out Kami, Caroline and Eliane, the favour shall certainly be returned. Just ye wait...
